All About Camp Calvary

 

 

Camp Calvary was started and established in 2010 with the intent of assisting young adults over 18. 

 

After 18, you are at so many cross roads:

- what job do I take?

- what school do I go to

- who do I get married to?

Instead of seeking guidance from someone who has an uncircumcised heart - not caring about where you will live eternally - we want you to seek advice, guidance, and prayer, from someone who has prayed and fasted for you before you even came to camp and provide you with advice from an eternal perspective of HEAVEN and CHRIST.  We want  YOU to be comfortable discussing life choices with men and women who can guide you from a Christian perspective encouraging you to build your life on the ROCK our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST!

In 2009, while volunteering for Camp Emanuel, our group decided to build a new camp focused on those men and women over 18 years old. We decided to sacrifice our July 4th weekend (without our children) to cook for you, to work for you, to pay for you, without reward here on earth but in hope that you can one day look back & do the same for our children or grandchildren.

Camp continues to be the place of spiritual awakening, growth, and battle ground in our pursuit of living holy lives. It is the place where we come together in the name of Jesus, forming lasting relationships. Sharpening one another (Proverbs 27:17) to endure, conquer and be the light of the world.
